From Los Angeles, I flew out East on to Newark Airport - what better way to spend a day than above America! A short trip across the Hudson river later, and I'm in New York City, New York!
I enjoyed my time there, again I did alot of walking, particularly back and forth across the Brooklyn Bridge. New York felt - to me - so different to LA.... dare I say slightly more civilised, though certainly no less fun! I hung with friends, saw the sights, drank with the writer of Jarhead, ascended iconic buildings, toured museums, galleries and stadiums, ate at Toms' Diner, had the World's Most Fabulous Cheesecake, and read The New York Triology on the streets on which it's set.
Don't forget me New York, I'll be back soon...

I recently returned from Los Angeles via New York (more of which in a later post) - my American debut no less.
It was much fun - I fulfilled my lifelong dream to take the findadeath tour, saw the stars on Hollywood boulevard, shopped in Beverly Hills, played shows, hung out with Lemmy, toured the Paramount Pictures Studio, walked from Venice Beach to Santa Monica, spotted Brian Badonde, walked plenty, ate plenty, drank in Dillons and The Shortstop, toured Dodger Stadium, rocked 'em and socked 'em, and drove Mulholland Drive...
LaLaLand is a strange (and photogenic) town...
